Wedding Registry & Tiny House

Do any brides already live with your FHs? My fiancé and I have been living together since we started dating in 2013. I'm still not sure if we want to create a wedding registry or not due to our tiny home. Any advice as to if I should create a small registry although we really don't need anything...

Any advice as to if I should create a small registry although we really don't need anything besides money for a bigger home in the future?

Like PP's have stated, do not listen to Megan. If you want a honeymoon, you need to pay for it yourself. If guests give you cash, then that's great. But under no circumstance is it ever OK to create a Honeyfund to ask for cash, and have guests pay for you honeymoon because you didn't want to save. Just create a small registry with a few upgrades, Your guests will get the hint. =)

We bought a house 8 months ago (before we were engaged) and we got a lot of stuff for it then. But everything wears out in time. So we're going to register for things I know we'll have to replace eventually (bedding, towels) and upgrades on some stuff that could stand upgrading (better cookware, etc). It's a small registry, but there're options there for those that don't want to give cash.

You may think that you wouldn't need a registry, but trust me. I guarantee you that you will end up finding things to add to your registry once you make one. MyRegistry.com has all sorts of inspiration boards if you have trouble deciding what to put or even has the option of setting up a cash fund (although it isnt really welcomed here) while setting up a registry, so check it out.

We lived together for over 2 years before married.

We made a small registry from crate and barrel.

    Worked well.

We lived together for many years. And I owned almost everything we needed beforehand, anyways.

We registered for upgrades. I come from a boxed gift area, so it was kinda expected.

I'm in the same situation. I decided I would register for new (nicer) kitchen stuff since most of ours is a mix of hand-me-downs and whatever I found on sale. We're also asking for nice towels and sheets (the old ones are going to our local animal shelter).

Also try an Amazon registry! There's lots more you can add than you can from Macy's or somewhere similar

We live together as well, I made my registry on my dream items. Sign up for a registry. You are not going to get enough money to put a down payment on a bigger house anyways.
