Wedding PTO? How much are...

I am taking off the entire week before (wedding on Saturday) then Monday and Tuesday after.

Our honeymoon is two months later so I have a week off for that too.

I'm hoping to take a day off before and 3-4 days off afterwards. I only get to choose 5 days of my holiday a year as the rest is dictated by company closure. We want to go away for a few days straight afterwards, then have a proper honeymoon in August when the company closes. Unfortunately (in some ways) my younger brother is getting married during the break in August so we're going to have to have a shorter honeymoon that we would have liked.

Still, I do have about 3 weeks off over christmas so I'll have lots of time then to sit and make all the favours, decorations and invitations. I've got all the bits, just need to put them all together.

Ill be taking 7 days probably.

The friday before my wedding, the week after for the honeymoon, and then that following Monday because I want a day to be lazy from flying

9 work days off but our honeymoon ends the day before Thanksgiving so I get an extra 2 days. 11 total.

Im getting married on a Saturday so i will b off from July 30th -August 11th so about 2 weeks!!

Thursday before, the Friday of the wedding, the whole next week, and then the next Monday. So... 8.

I'm taking a 1/2 day on 11/27. I'm off Thursday and Friday (company holidays) and taking a full day (of vacation) on Monday (12/2).

I'll be using 6 days of vacation in June for our 10 day honeymoon to California.

I get 4 weeks off a year, plus 10 paid holidays. I'm taking 2 weeks off, because we're leaving for Mexico on a Tuesday and coming back the following Tuesday.

I am exactly like you.... Wedding is on Saturday. So I am taking off Thursday and Friday before.... (our rehearsal is Thursday) the whole next week and Monday. Going back to work on Tuesday. I figured I would take that Monday off just to relax!!!!

@His Doe: Yup that's what I figured! I'm still trying to decide if our honeymoon will be Monday-Saturday or Monday-Sunday... It's really gonna depend on price..... LOL :-)

Since my wedding is going to be the week after Mothers Day and my birthday is 3 days before my wedding I am taking the week before my wedding, and two days after Monday and Tuesday after wedding to relax and let it sink that I am a wife....

1 week before, the week of (of course), but two of those days XMas Eve & Christmas are paid days off and then a full week off after, but two more of those days are paid days off. So technically 3 weeks. Can't wait!

I'm taking off Thursday before and the week after. As soon as the holidays are over I'm putting in my request.

I would've gotten married in the summer, but I live in LA and it's freakin hot. I do not want to sweat at my wedding. Also, I didn't want to be engaged that long.

I am taking 4 days off. Originally, it was 3 (Wed-Fri) and only because two of my maids are coming from a different state. Now FH has a court date for his name change, so I added Tuesday so that I could be there with him.

I'm getting married on a Saturday and plan to take the Friday before and the entire following week. Debating on also taking the Thursday before because, who am I trying to kid? I won't be focusing on work at all that week!!

I took off the fri and sat before my sunday wedding. I WISH I WOULD HAVE TAKEN THE WHOLE WEEK OFF BEFORE THE WEDDING. Did I stress that enough?? LOL Seriously, I was getting so stressed out. I had two days off after the wedding then went back to work for 2 more days then off for a week and a half for honeymoon.

I was off two whole weeks and it was glorious.
