Wedding Postponed twice in 2020!! i can't get peace of mind anymore!

I’m sorry you are having to deal with this. I am glad to hear that your venue have you your money back because I’ve seen some horror stories about people losing deposits. I’m sure it’s hard to stay excited and motivated but try to stay positive and remember you are still getting married even though it’s delayed. Good luck.

I am so sorry girl! Just know your feelings are valid & it's OKAY to cry! We moved our wedding twice as well and boy let me tell you I wasn't able to stop crying for weeks! Probably going to be in the dumps this weekend because 4/25/20 was our original date 💔. Everything for this year is changing state by state but I feel there will probably be some restrictions on events for the rest of this year. Our new date is 4/18/21 & everything should be A-OKAY for next spring! Sending you all the positivity & love! No matter when your day is it will be special & beautiful 💕.

Thank you for your positivity! May I ask why you had to cancel twice as well? You and your fiance should still do something special this weekend to celebrate regardless. My fiance and I danced to our first dance song at the time when we were supposed to be having our first dance at our reception. We both cried and weirdly, it felt good afterwards. You guys should totally do it with some candle-lit dinner! It is still a special day.

View Quoted Comment So we are having our ceremony on a cliff & you have to have a permit in order to use it, when we first moved our date the park office said they would re-issue our permit for the new date but then we had issues with that with a different person saying we had to resubmit completely and then we weren't approved. Our photographer also said they wouldn't be able to do our first date change without charging us more $$ because they already had a booked wedding on that date (it was this whole weird thing) - but the cliff was extremely important to us so we moved it the second time and luckily everything fell into place for it! Also in a weird way we are getting married on the original day itself we wanted to (April 18th). We originally wanted go get married 4/18/20 but our reception venue was already booked so we pushed it a week. So it's like we get that day just a year further out! Lol.


I love that idea! I originally told my FH that I'll definetely need to be distracted on our OG day because I'll just cry 😅. I think sharing what would of been our first dance in our living room will be special 💕 thank you for that idea!

Funny thing is our new wedding date was also a date we considered last year when booking but it was going to cost $5k more so we decided to stick with March. Now with a diff venue we got to choose this date. Your positivity is contagious and i wish you have a lovely weekend with your fiance celebrating your love!!
