Wedding postponed due to death....

Hello all. I am very heartbroken and distraught. My godfather suddenly passed away this weekend from a heart attack. He was only 47 and leaves behind two children. I am so beyond devastated as it was so sudden. He had no life insurance and his wife is currently out on disability and had no savings. With my father passing, he was the real father figure I had for the last couple years and was honestly there my entire life so I felt it only right to give what I had saved up for my wedding to give him a great funeral. I know people will probably think i'm silly for giving up all my money, which was only 5,400 and also for being sad that i'm giving up my wedding money. I am feeling so lost and confused. I felt this was the best place I could go without talking to my family about it. FH said I did the right thing and that the wedding will/can wait and I know it can I guess it's just so many emotions all at once. Thank you for letting me vent. I love all you WW ladies.
