Wedding pictures before, day or or after?

Wedding pictures before, day or or after? 1 We’ve taken a few engagement pictures our selves. But want to hire a professional for our wedding of course. I was wondering when you were planning on taking yours! Are you getting dressed up and taking pictures before, after and/or the day or your wedding?

    That's a great picture!

Traditionally, pictures are taken day of, either before the ceremony, or during cocktail hour.

In terms of before, some regions have a tradition of bridal portraits, I think.

The reason pictures are taken day of is because everyone will be gathered, with hair and makeup done. If you do them before or after, your family and BP might not be there. And they day after, let me tell you, you're going to be *exhausted*.

We took our wedding pictures at our wedding. Why waste the time and money to do them another day?

I'm doing bridal portraits today for my original wedding date, but wedding pictures will be taken day of.

We're doing wedding photos the day of, but we also had a professional engagement photo shoot. It's a good way to get more comfortable in front of the camera/with the photographer.

Ours were taken day of. We loved our photographers style of limited posed pictures and more photos capturing the moments and memories from the wedding. I would definitely recommend having the wedding photos taken day of.

We’re doing ours the day of. I have the photographer for 6 hours and will get her to do some photos of us getting ready, the ceremony, portraits directly after the ceremony and a little bit of the reception.

I did day of but I actually know a couple that did theirs the day after their wedding so that they had adequate time and didn’t feel rushed

We'll be doing wedding photos the day of. We're getting married at one location but will be doing a few photos there and another set of photos where we originally booked before. I'm so excited.

Wedding pictures are part of the day-of festivities. Never heard of them on a different day because it wouldn't be in the moment otherwise.

If we hadn't postponed, we would've done an hour of photography the day before with just the two of us. I have two dresses, so that would've ensured we had photos of both outfits. All other pictures were to be the day of.
