Wedding photos!

Hi ladies, I want to ask my photographer if our wedding pictures are ready but I don't want to make it sound like I'm demanding them. Whats a good way to ask her? A day after our wedding I asked her how long would it take and I guess she thought I meant is the pictures ready now so she told me "we just had the wedding yesterday! in about 4-6 weeks". Its been 5 weeks and 4 days! I'm just so eager to see them. I can't wait any longer!

I would say "Hi how are you? How is everything coming along? You did such a wonderful job with everything at the wedding and we are eager to see your wonderful work"

I'd wait until the full 6 weeks are up. If you haven't heard back, just shoot her a message saying that you just wanted to check in on the status of the photos.

I'd wait til 7 weeks are up and then shoot her a message. That way you give the illusion of patience.

Girl I am in the same boat except my wedding was May 4th so its not even been a full 2 weeks! I have only gotten a sneak peek but its just made me want to see more! I would also wait to reach out until you have reached the maximum amount of time she gave. Hang in there!

I agree with this. I would definitely wait the full 6 weeks before reaching out. Once you get to that point if you still have not received them, then I would send me a message asking when you can expect for them to be finished as it was 6 weeks on x date.

Hi Cindy! Saw this post from you too and thought I'd offer some advice. 4-6 weeks is actually a terrific turn-around time for wedding photos. If you would like to see a few a bit sooner, photographers are usually able to send you a couple 'sneak peek' ones, especially if you explain that you'd like to print your thank you cards using photos from your wedding
