Wedding party vs bride aisle song

I did a different song for the processional. My processional song was instrumental so it wasn't so bad

Mine walked down to a different song. But I don’t think there’s a right or wrong, it’s whatever works best for you and what you like the best.

Different songs. We told our band which songs to play for each group and sent a Spotify playlist with the songs in order. One of the band members DJs during band breaks so he played and mixed the songs together appropriately for the wedding ceremony. We had 1 song for parents, 1 song for groom/groomsmen, 1 song for bridesmaids, 1 song for bride and 2 songs for recessional (cause it takes time for everyone to leave 😂). You only play a small piece of each song, aside from the recessional.

The parents and guys walked out to one song. Then the bridal party and me walked down to the same song. There was a part in the song that built up in intensity so it was a perfect spot for me to make my appearance. We had musicians so were able to control timing and transitions well.

Different songs.

We'll have 3 songs. One for grandmothers, mothers, and officiant, one for groom and wedding party, and one for me. All songs will be played all the way through, and each person will have a cue to begin walking. It's a small group, so it's not as complicated as it might sound.
