Hi Ya'll, My very soon to be fiance is going to have a groomsmen meeting (after we get engaged - in which is this month)& wants me there. Then he wants to come to the bridesmaids meeting but im going to see if i can have the girls come to the groomsmen meeting & change it to just wedding party...

My very soon to be fiance is going to have a groomsmen meeting (after we get engaged - in which is this month)& wants me there. Then he wants to come to the bridesmaids meeting but im going to see if i can have the girls come to the groomsmen meeting & change it to just wedding party meeting but a hmmm what is done in a wedding meeting?? i kinda have an idea sorta do but not really? if u had one or are having one. Can you please give me an insight as of what is being talked about.

IF this weeding party meeting is a bad idea should discourage him from having one of these meetings??? or should i have him change it to something like wedding party get to gether????

Also what are some light wedding details that should be discussed at this soo called wedding meeting - wedding get to gether - hang out?? Can some one please give me some examples please??? Thanks Ya'll!!!

I created a FB group that contains important wedding info, since its hard getting everyone together and most ppl check their FB daily!

@ Rachel ~ i actually live in Missouri CIty TX but i like to say that im in sugarland cause its soo close to Mo city. Thats totally awesome Rachel!!!!

So funny story for you.. my daughter--- who is 4 years old, was given a bride doll last Christmas by a family member of mine. My daughter took it to her preschool to sleep with one day last week. FH happened to take her to school, so I had no idea she took it with her. When I picked her up, I asked her.. oh what is that you took with you to school today? She looks at me and says in a manner of fact, "This is my girl. Her name is Bridezilla." I was dying of laughter!

@ Future Mrs. J-Mo ~ I just created my secret group myself! Since all the wedding party is on FB anyways. I figured since all of them are on FB & are always on almost everyday! i would just creat a secret group to keep them all informed of different wedding events!

I think the meeting is a good thing. It gives your wedding party a chance to mix and mingle and get to know each other. You can discuss attire (ex: where to buy,color) . But i won't hand out any rules or regulations .IMO

@FutureMrsHodges I don't think a meeting (maybe a mixer is a better word) is a bad thing either. I don't see why you shouldnt get everyone together to hang out and get to know each other!

Maybe discuss the date, location, time of wedding, colors you are thinking of, stuff like that. I know guys dont really care about that, but girls do! Maybe call it a "bridal party meet n greet" or something fun like that.

@ Future Mrs. J-Mo ~ i don't know my fiance wants to have it some time after we are engaged i guess a few days afterwards or asap i guess. We really didn't talk to much about it yet just lightly tho.

@ Stephanie ~ All my girls know all the guys well maybe just my 2 MOHs but i know that one of my MOH isn't going to be able to take part in alot of things due to where she lives. But thanks for ur advice!!! I totally love the Meet N Greet name!!!
