My sister and I used to be close then we drifted apart. When my FH were first married she was a bridesmaid. But over the last few months we startes getting closer.

I already selected my bridesmaids. I have 5, my FH has 4 groomsmen.
I want my sister to be a part of my day. But, I don't know where? Any ideas?

The wedding party does not need to numerically match. Add her if you want to.

It is your day. Do what you want. I have been in parties where it was uneven. No one cares. Be careful letting family dictate your wedding. If you want it to match then go for it but if it does not bother you do what you want. You're an adult.

Our wedding party is uneven as well. i don't think it matters anymore. and to make it even more uncommon, my fiances sister is standing in the place where a "best man" would. so how untraditional can you get lol. but that's what he wanted and everyone is fine with it.

I'd add her as a bridesmaid. I was in a wedding in 2017 with 6 BM and 4 GM. It was totally fine.
