Wedding no no?

Going to a wedding this weekend and they just said to save money they want people to bring food....enough to feed 150 people if you are bringing something. Yikes. I really feel this is not right of them to even ask. Is it totally wrong of me to choose not to bring something?

I don't know about feeding 150! But a pot lock dinner sounds fun

Yeah, that's definitely pretty tacky. A wedding reception is usually hosted by the couple and/or their parents. I've never heard of a potluck reception. Even if I was desperate I'd call Domino's before I went that route.
