Wedding Night

Our venue is very close to home, less than 10 minutes. We are sleeping at a hotel next door to the venue the night before (separate rooms) and the night of. For us it just makes it feel that much more real. I don’t want to go home afterwards! Lol

We live about 30 minutes away but still got a hotel for the night of, as well as the night after, so that we wouldn't have to check out early the day after our wedding.

It was nice to relax in a place other than home for a little bit and not immediately start thinking about things like dishes!

My husband and I got a room at the resort I work at. I work for a timeshare company processing and auditing contracts. I used my employee rate to get crazy cheap and beautiful villa for my husband and I for the wedding. I checked in the night before the wedding and we checked out 2 days after the wedding. We mainly did this b/c a majority of our family that came in town for the wedding stayed at our house and we wanted some alone time, lol. We didn't end up taking a honeymoon b/c we got married at the end of February & right before a majority of the COVID shutdowns. We were planning a honeymoon the month after our wedding, so I'm glad we stayed at the resort after the wedding b/c we weren't able to go on our honeymoon due to COVID.

We’re having our wedding in our backyard and we’re still going to a hotel afterwards hahah. It’s such a special day, I didn’t want to go back to “reality” so quickly. Especially since we aren’t having a honeymoon!

Our wedding is Nov 6 2021 our venue is the Reniassance Hotel ...so we will be staying at the hotel for the whole weekend...that was a easy decision cause we got our suit at a discount ...

I will be staying there the night before the wedding, my girls and I will be getting ready the morning of, we paid for an open bar so we're taking advantage of that, and we both agreed it would be nice to stay in a hotel the night of our wedding
