Okay, so my FH and I are debating what we want to do for our wedding night. We are debating staying at a hotel room that night or going to our house?

Just some details: we are in the process of buying a home and he will live there but I will not move in until we are married so being together in our home would still be special. If we chose the house we would have someone to decorate and make it even more special too.

We leave the next morning for our honeymoon but are driving so no real time schedule!

Any opinions on why one would be better than the other?

Our original plan was to drive back home (30 mins) but we wanted to relax that night and be with our family and guests who are staying in the hotel for breakfast the next morning.

I would say if you could save the money from the hotel and stay the first night together in Y'alls home, that is more special than a hotel.

We are staying in a hotel because we have been living together, we have two children and my dad and his wife will be staying at our home with the kids.

So that's why the hotel will work better for us.

I wanted a hotel room just so that it was different since we've lived together in our house for over a year.
