Do it. If your dress goes south, (not that this has ever happened...) you'll be covered. It's just good sense....

    Wedsafe

    Wedsure

    do it.

For anyone providing some sort of transportation (shuttles), are you also getting transportation insurance? Our venue requires liability insurance, which isn't that bad, but if we include transportation it gets super pricey. Not sure if it's worth it (I'm generally insurance-adverse to begin with).

@Jennifer, there is a cancellation coverage available that I think would apply in that scenario. Check out the website and/or call with specific questions.

My venue requires us to have our own policy. Some policies won't let you buy until your within a year from the event date. I'm getting both liability and the cancellation protection which also covers if vendors don't show or damages to photos or attire etc. it's pretty cheap under $300 depending on who you go with.

Our venue covered everything. If you live in an area with extreme weather I would get it. I'm in Northern CA and wasn't worried about hurricanes, tornadoes, etc.
