Wedding hairstyles... Show me yours!!! ??

Laura, on December 24, 2019 at 12:14 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9

Do I choose my hairstyle first, the veil, the jewelry, hair comb... I can't seem to pull it all together. What should I do first??? And how did you pull it all together??

I decided on my hairstyle first then found the flowers. I didn’t wear a veil so that part was easy for me. Jewelry came last for me. Wedding hairstyles... Show me yours!!! ?? 1

Well, the jewelry happened pretty fast - my mom got me a necklace that is beautiful and stands out, and then my fmil offered me her mother's Pearl's. I had a hard time with a veil before deciding to go with something custom. As for my hair, I'm still not sure. I was thinking a simple updo with some hair pins I found, but there are so many options! Going to see what my hair stylist says at my hair trial.

Decide on the style first (up, down, half up/half down etc) then choose your veil, hair pieces etc that will work with that style. Mine was a half up/half down with a headpiece and veil for the ceremony then I switched to an up do and a hair piece for the reception and also changed dresses.

This is not the final product, obviously lol. (Sorry for the tag on the hair clips) But I knew I wanted a veil, so I started with that, and then found small hair accessories to compliment the veil.

Before I decided on having a veil, per say, I was lost. I couldn't decide where to start at all, and every hair piece/jewelry decision was just leading me no where. But when I tried on a veil, everything fell into place. Smiley smile

I went completely backwards and chose my hair pin first bc I fell in love with it. Then I picked a hair style and then I changed my mind on not getting a veil bc I found one so beautiful. Then I had to figure it all out. I’m still waiting on pro photos but here are a few I have. Wedding hairstyles... Show me yours!!! ?? 3

I decided on jewelry immediately because I wore my great grandmother’s necklace and earrings that my mom had worn at her wedding (it was my “something old”). Then I knew I wanted my hair half up half down and bought a veil, then had my hair trial and decided on the exact style. I actually definitely recommend getting your veil before doing your hair trial (though consider what type of hair style you’ll want of course) so the hair stylist can put the veil in during the trial to make sure the whole look works.
