Wedding Favors

Emily, on February 13, 2020 at 1:04 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 8

My fiance and I are trying to find wedding favors. We are trying to get away from edible favors, but I don' t want the favors to seem cheap. Does anyone have some unique, classy ideas for wedding favors?

I don't think they'd seem cheap if you package it cutely. For instance a lot of people just do some candies in a little cute bag or box

I think it helps to consider your wedding theme/style/location, so here's a few ideas. If it's cold in your location, blankets or thermoses would be awesome (but pricey), or hand warmers for a cheaper option. If you have lots of flowers or greenery, mini plants, herbs, or seed packets are great. There are cute tag ideas like "thanks for helping our love grow". Beach wedding? Mini bottles of sunscreen and aloe with personalized labels. More general ideas include shot glasses, mini bottles of liquor from a local source, coffee/tea.

We're making cookies and putting them in the plain white goodie bags with stickers that have our photo on them/say "Thank you". We're also doing Koozies because- Texas. lol I don't think it needs to be over the top. I'm paying for food and alcohol for 200 people. I don't feel like anyones feelings will be hurt if they don't get a random item with our names and wedding date plastered on them. Personal opinion thoughSmiley smile Here are the stickers for the cookie bags!

I personally think that edible favors are the way to go. Seems like they are the most popular and useful.

Honestly, I’d go edible or skip. Most non-edible favors will be left behind. 😞

Oh! Totally ok to skip theses days. Not really necessary anymore. 👏
