Wedding Favors

In my culture, favors are actually customary, but the problem is that every wedding I've been to I found that the favors were either useless or just got left behind.

I actually opted to do donations as favors for my wedding next year. My fiance and I share similar cultures and most of our attendees are also from the same country/culture as us and donations are a huge part of our religion so instead of favors we are putting cards on everyone's table and writing that a donation in their name has been given to a charity that we have chosen to go with (charity name will be provided as well as what their works is). I come from a war-torn country so a lot of people in attendance will appreciate this and it is really important to me

Maybe look into something similar if you like the idea It also cuts costs because you could donate as much as fits your budget and saves time.
