We both love popcorn. So I will order mini
Bags and tie ribbons in our colors.

A super cute one I saw once. The bride gave flower bulbs of (in her case crocuses) flowers in there wedding colors that the guests could plant in their yards. She put them in the tiny mesh bags that tie with a ribbon. She ordered them from chine - shipping took a while, but it was super economical!

Hersey kisses in a little bag was my favorite favor. So something edible is always top of the list. Koozies, mints, matches, are also popular and cheap

I feel like on a budget the most cost effective thing is to do something that can serve double duty as an escort card.

I agree. No one wants a koozie with someone else's wedding date on it. Unless it is commercially prepared food, most will skip it.

I did koozies pretty cheap on totally promotional. I got more than needed because it was cheaper less than 120 for 200.

We live near Lake Erie and spend a lot of time looking for beach glass and talking just the two of us. Our wedding is out of town and most our guests have never experienced beach glass so the past three summers we collected glass to put into little sample containers. Then I had stickers made. Now each guest can take a piece of our “home” home with them. Between the stickers and containers I only spent $8 for 125 of these!

My advice would be to get something edible. It really sucks when favors that brides spend a lot of time and money on get left on the tables at the end of the reception. I personally just bought 100 Krispy Kreme Donuts (About $90) and ordered some ADORABLE Kraft paper bags to put them in that said "donut mind if I do" with our names and wedding date. People took some home for their kids as treats too.

I saw something on pinterest with brown bags filled with strawberries. They looked beautiful! I already bought little seed things on wish. Wish is THE BEST for cheap stuff, so is orientaltrading. com. Agree though, a lot of weddings I've seen many get leftover.
