Wedding favors on a budget ideas 💡

We chose 3 of our favorite types of candy and will be making favor bags for each guest. That way, if there is extra, it is something we like!

We're writing personalized notes that we'll put at everyone's seats. A friend did this at her wedding and it was a huge hit. Super meaningful.

My first idea was no favors at all, then I thought maybe We could do the custom cups with our name & date on the cups. I figured it’s functional for the wedding and ppl could take em home but now im back to thinking no favors. Im going to stick with that unless I find an idea that I love that I think is worth it. I would want to think of things that ppl might actually want to keep or use, and if not then its not worth spending extra money on things that ppl will most likely throw away.

I am doing Hershey kisses in a little gift box and I have a very tight budget

Super inexpensive! I made 170 of these, each with 8 kisses.

I got 200 clear baggies from amazon for like $8.

3 - 4 lb bags of kisses was about $61

5 - 10.6 oz bags of Hershey Hugs was a little under $20.

We skipped individual favors. We're doing a large glass bowl at the exit table (maybe, undecided as exact location) of hershey kisses/hugs with a sign that will say XOXO, The XXXX's and the date

I had glow sticks and a candy bar. It wasn't that expensive to do because I bought the candy and glow sticks with coupons and during sales

We were not going to do favors, but we decided on cookies for each guest. I ordered cookies with our name and date on them for my Bridesmaids boxes and they loved them and they were GF (gluten free) and not bad for the price. We will have the wait staff hand out cookies as they collect plates (seated dinner) just prior to cake being served. We are also placing Thank You notes at each place setting.

We bought 100 5oz stadium cups in our colors with our names and date on one side and “Thank you” on the other side for just $65. We are going to fill each cup with trail mix and put them in a cellophane bag. (We’re getting married on national trail mix day) ... we’re also doing a wedding cake shaped piñata with candy and treats for the kids. I’m making the piñata myself so the only expense is the candy. We also have sparklers ... all cheap options.

Nice price favors.com are very reasonable. We're doing simple coasters, inexpensive and practical.

I bought these off of amazon $25 for 60 of them. Theh are bottle openers. They also have different styles of them.

Took these 3 photos and went to the dollar store for more ideas. Found some burlap bags on amazon for about $10 and went to Winco (grocery) to buy some yogurt snack size pretzels (3lbs) for about a $1 per pound in bulk. Put up a sign using a frame from the dollar store about how "we couldn't tie the knot without you". Super cheap. I wanted bubbles too. So I Amazon'd that too. Found some champagne bubble bottles (72pk) for $24. Didnt need the splurge, but it's a summer wedding and didnt want to not have bubbles.

Home made jams

Edible is always a great budget friendly favor. We’re doing a small box that says “love is sweet” that will contain personalized m&m’s and champagne gummy bears. I’ve been to so many weddings were favors are left behind. But edible treats are always a hit!
