Wedding Favors for a Large Wedding

My Fiance & I have about 200 people on our guest list and it may end up increasing. We're literally on a shoestring budget, but we would like to get favors for our guests. Anyone have some good, super-inexpensive favor ideas?

You could make a charitable donation after the wedding! For the wedding, print up business cards (cheap to do at home, or on Vistaprint when they offer the 250-for-free deal) stating that you're making a donation to XYZ Charity in lieu of gifts. Then after the wedding (once you've received cash gifts--you're bound to get some!) you can write a check to the charity.

Personally, I think favors are a huge waste of money. If you are on a tight budget, forego the favors. They are soooo not needed.

I hate favors.. Send them home with a 2 krispy cream donuts or something in a box for breakfast and call it a day. lol Seriously I wish I didn't get most the wedding favors I've gotten. lol

I only have about half of your guest, but we're doing as favors, chocolate covered apples, small size. about $50 dlls per 100 apples, we are also doing candy buffet (dollar tree) has lots of candy, cake pops, and mini jars filled with different flavors of Jelly..those will be at guest tables.. Good luck Smiley smile

I got my guests personalized matchbooks from www.WeddingFavors.org. VERY affordable and VERY cute! Your guests would love them!

What did you end up doing? I'm having a wedding the same size, and won't have time for baking/making edible treats
