We did this too. Its also great for our RSVP’s. They email us and we send them the link to our wedding website and other details.

Yes!! I definitely recommend doing this as someone who planned my best friend's wedding in under 6 months (Oct-March 2019) I had her make a wedding only email so every vendor contact and contract could be found there. Also so any spam related to weddings would go there and not her personal account. It's much simpler and now that I'm engaged we have our own wedding email and it's definitely much easier to stay organized. Also great for when couples are sharing wedding planning responsibilities, or just need to have copies of stuff for records and need to find something quickly!

I did the same! My fiance never accessed it because I did all the planning, but it's been nice having a separate email for the wedding for sure.

We did this (tip from the first vendor we contacted), and it's a life saver.

It's also given us what amounts to our hashtag/nickname for the wedding. We smushed our last names together, and it's cute.

We'll probably nuke it when the wedding is over, because the wedding spam is unending (I was engaged once before, and it took YEARS for Knot to stop emailing me... which was bad, because it was a massive trigger).

I'd make a new one for joint finances, if you want to do that.
