I went just before the virus started affecting everything and bought mine in early March of this year. I'm not getting married until March of 2021 but didn't really have any intention of actually saying yes at the time but I just found the one and couldn't pass it up. You have plenty of time. Just keep an open mind when you go because stuff I thought I wouldn't like such as dress that is not 100% white (Ivory) or beading and ending up getting a dress that was not 100% white.

You're welcome. The place I bought mine from said anywhere from 16-24 weeks until it would be ready. I'm sure you'll find it! It is true what they say when you find the one. It made me feel like a bride.

I got a designer dress and I was always told to go months earlier. For some reason I waited 4 months before and it came in two months. I think you are fine! Smiley smile

About 8 months is a good timeframe in which to have a dress by - depending on the dress they can take a few months to come in and then a few months for alterations. You still have plenty of time!

You are definitely fine! Mine is 6/4/21 and I haven't looked yet at all. I have appointments 8/1 of this year to finally go look. I thought I was waiting too long, but I talked to the boutique and asked if they thought I was looking too late and they said not all and that I was still ahead of the game. I suggest finding the boutiques/stores you want to go to, see if they are taking appointments now and schedule them out, and then ask on average how long it takes for dresses to come in. That will help!

Awesome, good luck! I had appointments in Manhattan at Kleinfeld's and Vera Wang back in March but they were cancelled due to the pandemic. Since my mom and I are both considered high-risk, I decided to go closer to her in a smaller PA town. I didn't want to drag her through the city. I found a lot of these smaller boutique shops carry a lot of the same designers I was interested in, in the NYC shops. Another plus in shopping outside the city is it'll likely be a cost savings - even if only a little, I'll take it! Smiley smile

I know, I was looking forward to that Sarah Jessica Parker experience with my mom, but it wasn't meant to be. Thank you! Smiley smile

You’ll be fine. Just check with the place you end up purchasing your dress from to confirm that you will have enough time Smiley smile

Hi Litria, Congratulations! I was in the same shoes as you! I ordered my reception dress in April from Australia on StillWhite.com they also have an App! Check it out ! it's amazing! My dress came in the first week of June. It came sooner than anticipated and it is absolutely stunning. I am ordering my second dress for the Ceremony from Lace Bridal and it's expected delivery is between 3-6 months. My wedding is in July 2021. I wanted my dresses earlier since Covid-19 is affecting most. businesses right now, I wanted to secure having time to get alterations on them before the wedding.

I also ordered my engagement party dress and will be ordering my bridal party dress soon too! Since your wedding is in May you have enough time to order online Smiley laugh I recommend finding your dress and then searching it up on StillWhite, Pre owned wedding dresses ( are mostly brand new and some never used!) and the prices are so much more cheaper! I got my $3800 dress for only $615 and it included shipping from Australia and it came from the Milla Nova Collection. I was super nervous ordering my bridal gown online. But after receiving my dream dress it was everything I hoped for. I was truly blessed by one of the brides on StillWhite. Best of Luck!

One side note that I do wish I could've had that bridal experience at the salon and have my entourage there for support. My family has been so supportive and they will be decorating my living room so that I can have my day of revealing both of my dresses once the other one arrives for them here at home (Mom & Sisters).
