I spent 60 on an allure bridals 8800 (sheath pic) and 50 on a never altered professionally cleaned davids bridal collection V3849(ballgown pic) which is still being sold at davids bridal for 948 without tax. The allure went for 1300 brand new and looks new. Not sure which I'm going with yet but alterations was always going to be a thing so as long as it's a bit bigger than me I was always going to buy second hand. And If I had 1 to 2k to spend I still would have gone second hand and got a riki dalal or galia lahav on still white. These dresses are worn for like 4 hours if worn at all because most that are for sale on still white and pre owned wed are from brides who changed their mind. And I'm just not a big consumerism person. If I can get the same exact thing for half price why wouldn't I? Especially when I'm only going to wear it once. So I'm really happy this is a thing now. Thank goodness for the internet. What I actually did was go try on dresses and find what I loved, checked the tag and found it online so much cheaper. I just couldnt be wasteful but I don't have it like that lol. I wish I had that kind of money laying around. But I'm so happy you all found your dream dresses. The fact that we are happy and are doing us on our big days is really all that matters.

Mine was on sale for $599 but I paid another $550 in alterations 🙃
$1,300ish without alterations! I have my first fitting in a couple of weeks, so not exactly sure how much I will spend on alterations... I've lost some weight, so I know they will have to take it in a bit.

Thank you so much! I’m having a pretty laid back wedding. We’re getting married in Joshua tree national Park so I’m going for a desert boho feel
My dress and cathedral veil(which I added an extra 3ft of length to because of the very long train on my dress) came to $5,750. I'm not sure how much alterations will cost but my dress is supposed to be in by the end of this month!
$2000, it was originally $2300 off but they gave us $300 off for the trunk show. This is before alterations and I think it will need to be altered 2 or 3 sizes so I am a bit worried about alterations and the cost.
My dress was $1,800 & my veil was just a little over $200! (Honestly wish I would of paid a little more attention to the veil price lol, but I do LOVEEEE my veil)
