Wedding dress wrong size

I got an email from my the boutique i bought my dress from saying they “accidentally” ordered my dress in the wrong size. I have a signed document that states the correct size that I ordered. The problem is, the one they ordered is 2 sizes than what i am. My wedding is an april, and my dress arives late january early febuary.... they said for me to try to lose weight, but is it even possible for me to lose 40 pounds? They are giving me a $400 gift card plus any bridal accessories and my mob dress for free. Im so scared i wont be able to lose the weight and fit into my dream dress. Also, i dont have enough time to order a new one. What do i do??! Advice??? My anxiety is so bad right now my chest hurts

I would reach out to the manufacturer. They surely have a sales rep assigned to that store who could help you.

They want you to loose 40 lbs?! That's just rude and insulting. You don't need someone putting external stress on you. I don't even know how they thought that was appropriate to ask. They need to REORDER and ship that fast. I's so sorry you're going through this.

They are in breach of contract. They ordered the wrong size and it is their responsibility to rush order the correct dress and size. If they fail to produce your dress, per the contract, they are liable and I’d make sure they understand that a contract is binding to both parties, not just one.
