Wedding dress too simple?

First, the dress is amazing and doesn't scream beach to me at all. I don't see it as too simple, either.

I had a similar experience with my EOA dress I bought. After purchase, I looked at it online and EOA described it as casual, which really bothered me. I'm mostly over it now, though 😉

I think the simplicity of it makes it beautiful!! Its looks fantastic in the picture,and once you add jewelery and such it will be even more amazing. Dont second guess yourself!! It can be hard when someone is "pressuring" you but remember you picked that dress for a reason.

I love it. It looks elegant and timeless. The cut, draping, pleating, and train are all in a more formal style, and it sounds like your accessories will work well. My dress is a different style, but also swiss dot. And I also ended up with a pearl and rhinestone tiara. 😆 I was little worried how it would look since my fiancé wanted to wear a tux, but ultimately I didn’t see a big disparity in formality. Some of my friends had wanted me to get something ‘blingier,’ but that just isn’t me.

In the summary: I love it, it doesn’t look too plain, and if you love it, go for it!

Don’t feel the need to get others’ opinions. You said so yourself that you loved it, but harped on one negative comment.

I’m wearing a very simple dress, not a traditional wedding gown. I haven’t shown anyone the dress because I don’t wanna hear anything negative!

Ooooooo that's the exact same dress I bought for my July wedding....I bought a birdcage veil, kitten heels, some vintage style earrings, and a sparkly belt to go with it I loved how it made me feel and I loved the dots lol

The dress looks very nice on you. I do not think it is too simple. You have to wear what makes you happy. I would try and forget about what the lady said.

I tried this dress on too! It’s beautiful, and you look great. Try not to let your experience with the salesperson get to you. Easier said than done, I know.

It is gorgeous and I love the veil with it! I wouldn't worry about it, your shoes and jewelry will Spruce it up too!

This is so beautiful! You can either let the dress be simple on its own, or dress it up with a belt and other accessories. I don't think anything can really clash with that dress! It looks so beautiful on you!

OP - If you want simple and understated then that’s what you should get. The train is very pretty and it is timeless.

I think once you get it altered to fit you, you will fall in love with it all over again..you chose that dress for a reason-stick with it. The consultant should have kept her opinion to herself

I think the dress is beautiful, and if you feel like a bride in it then that's all that matters! Don't second guess yourself because of what the consultant said. Your opinion and how you feel about this dress is all that matters
