Good morning all! I sadly realized over the weekend how noticeable my scars are on my chest. While working this weekend (wearing a tank top) many people stared or even commented on my scars. *I have MS and have had three ports surgically placed for monthly infusions. I now know that I don't want this for my wedding day and feel like I want to be covered up. Have any of you lovely ladies purchased dresses that cover your chest and have pics you are willing up share?

    @JoRocka UGH. Those pockets.

    ETA: I made the heart sign "less than 3" but it apparently was erased and now this looks like I hate pockets when I very much love dresses with pockets.

    Justin Alexander has lots of dresses with high necklines. Mine is style 8714.

    I think an illusion neckline is really pretty! But have fun dress shopping! And make sure the dress that you pick makes you feel confident and beautiful!

    I had an port-a-cath inserted on both sides of my chest right above my tatas when I had The Cancer. I have two thick scars, one of which has a deep indentation due to a raging infection I got after surgery. You can see mine often, and when someones does comment, it's usually "did you have breast cancer?" No, Einstein. And if I did, that would be a terrible fucking place to take the breast tissue out from.

    Anyways, I digress. Point is, Try not to worry too much about them. Easier said than done, I know. It took me years to be comfortable with my scars showing. Now I don't care. I see them as badges of honor, a reminder of how strong I am when faced with shitty circumstances.

    I don't know how much of your chest you need to cover, but the dress I got from David's Bridal has pretty good coverage! This is VW9340 I think. If your scars are higher on your chest, I think all of these illusion and high neckline dresses suggested are really beautiful.

    Here's a stock pic of mine! I said yes to it yesterday!! (short engagement haha) All the dresses I tried on had either an illusion top or lace top, and they're beautiful. Allure Bridals is a great designer for this style.

    Boozy the greater than less than signs make things disappear. I note a lot of things that way and it took me a long time to figure it out! Made me sounds crazy lol.

    Yeah. I was sad I didn't want that dress. It was stunning.

    Look at modest dresses. They are hard to find, but higher neck lines along with sleeves.

    This picture is the dress I got.
