Wedding Dress Shopping! Too Early?

I think it's fine to start looking now. a lot of brides get their's around a year out before their date.

I agree, now would be a good time to at least start getting an idea of what you like/don't like. Start trying on dresses and if you find the one, go for it! I agree that shipping times may be longer than usual, but it should still be here with plenty of time before your wedding. Have fun dress shopping!

The earlier you start the better. Dresses can take 6+ months to order and it may take a few try-ons to find the dress you love.

I say go for it! Better safe than sorry. The year mark (or close to) is more common than you think. Plus it also depends on where your dress is coming from. I got my dress off a resale site called Stillwhite. You purchase it straight from the seller. Once I purchased mine, I got it within the week.

Start looking. There's not a "rule" for when a bride can begin looking. I would say most brides should order 9-12 months prior to their wedding, so begin looking now as you are really only 2 months away from the time that most suggest you order. It took me 6 months of bridal appointments every weekend to find my dream dress, so it might take you quite a while. At least go to get an idea of the style and silhouette that you prefer for your body type. Designers are definitely experiencing longer turnover and shipping times as they are short-staffed according to my bridal salon. Try to enjoy shopping, though it can be exhausting lol. Good luck!!!

To look now and get an idea is fine. I'll start purchasing 8 to 10 months in advance. You are on the right track in my opinion

Go ahead and start shopping/looking now, it's typical to get your dress a year before the wedding. My wedding is October 23, 2021 and I have 2 appointments set for October 17th this year to start shopping.
