Wedding dress shopping question....

Do all wedding dress stores, have a sales associate in the dressing room with you as change into and out of dresses? Seems like all the stores have that. What if you want a little more privacy while changing?

My consultant was in there with me the whole time. I was glad! Some of th dresses were complicated!

Both places I went to the consultant was in the room with me the entire time. I wore modest undies and bra though to make it less awkward. I was cool with it, my undies actually covered me more than if I were wearing a swimsuit at the pool.

I went to three different bridal salons and they were all in the room with me but it was fine, just me and the girls, and they were covered.

I needed help because I had no idea what I was doing LOL. One dress was so convoluted the shop owner and her adult daughter AND MY MOM had to help me with all the layers and slips and crinolines. They have seen it all. Just wear a strapless bra and boy shorts. I actually wore a slip under my clothing to the appointment and it was helpful.

One of the stores I went to the consultant helped me in and out of the dresses. They other stores they just helped me zip up. I wore high waisted to mid-thigh spanx. They covered a lot so it help me feel more comfortable. But the constant is a pro they are used to helping a lot of women change in and out of dresses.

I went twice. 1st time the very young & very skinny Smiley sad girl stayed int he dressing room with me, however I had on a petticoat & full corset, so she really didn't see much. 2nd time we had been shopping all day & we showed up to DB w/o an appointment, so my dress consultant asked if I could just hang out for a few minutes & she would be right very to help me, however I was exhausted & had my little sister with me, so she just came in & zipped me up & all.

So I think it just depend on what you want & are comfortable with! Best of luck shopping!

Both places I went the consultant was in the room with me. I was expecting it. I actually preferred when they were in there. At the first place, she would often leave to go find more dresses and I would awkwardly be standing there in my bra and panties. I'm sure you could ask them to step out. You might find you prefer the help though.

I went to two shops. The first the consultant didn't help me and I left almost in tears. I could not figure out how to put them on and I was pulling my street size instead of my bridal size.

The second was DB and she stayed In the room with me. It was a huge help and I bought my dress from her.

My advice is don't wear a thong and you should be fine. Lol

I went to 5 shops and some just helped if you needed the help, others they stayed in the room. The one she stayed in the room she gave me slips and a corset to put on so I was fully covered then helped me into all of the dresses. I found this much easier than struggling into the dresses myself.

There was only 1 place I looked where they didn't stay in the room and physically put me in. It's normal. You can ask them to turn around if you want privacy. They are trying to sell you a dress, they will most likely honor your request.

Every place i went to i had someone in the room with me helping me in and out of the dresses. it was awkward the first shop i went to then, but you realize they do this all day every day and are more concerned with you not ripping the dress by stepping on it wrong when you try and get in it or something, rather then caring about your body. my suggestion is just wear full covering booty shorts and a strapless bra. if you want more privacy i'm sure they will turn around, but you will be happy they're in there to help you get in and out of the dresses haha. it's not bad, i promise!
