Wedding Dress Shopping Etiquette

She can if she wants but she doesn't have to. If I was one of your BMs in this situation, I would come fully prepared to pay for my own meal.

Everyone paid for their own lunch when I went dress shopping. No one expected their meal to be paid for either. So either way is fine. Have fun!!!

The first time I went with everyone I paid, just to say thank you but they were all expecting to pay. When we went the second time we all paid for ourselves. I don't think it's required, everyone can pay for themselves.

I also payed for lunch to thank them.

Good luck ,i went with my mom which was nice company but, she kept picking poofy dresses. Went again with my best friend and she was bridezilla. Just remember this day is ABOUT YOU, its okay to tell them no or to sit down. I paid for my mom as appreciation. Second time around we each paid for ourselves after we ate.

My mom insisted on picking up the bill when we went shopping, but we all expected to pay for ourselves. I think it could go either way, but it's in no way, shape, or form required.

Also, a word of advice: eat a light snack before you start dress shopping. Trust me, you don't want to be wicked hungry and trying on wedding dresses. Don't eat a full meal, but have a light snack to help keep your energy and emotions up. Have fun!
