Wedding dress regret :(

Ok, so I was terrified of the dress shopping experience being a plus sized bride and also because I just had twin girls two months ago.

My appt turned out great, and I said yes to the first dress pictured. I love how simple it is, very much my style and I like the idea that I could dress it up with fun hair/makeup/accessories.

BUT, the 2nd dress pictured was the runner up dress and I keep looking at pictures and thinking I should have chosen that one!!! It has the romantic lace sleeves I always saw myself wearing, and it’s got a more bridal feel than the first one. I’m just so lost!!! HELP!!!

PS: A couple things to consider, the 2nd dress is $500 more than the first. Our venue is a vintage ballroom. Wedding is in October.

I would recommend calling davids bridal and trying both on again with fresh set of eyes. Go with the one that feels the best. You look beautiful in both!

When i I tried on there were other dresses that would have looked beautiful and were right for the venue/occasion/etc but I didn't have that moment in them so that's how I made my choice

The first one is a great shape for you and really shows off your face. I feel like with dress 2 I'm looking at the dress more than you!

I hate to reinforce the dress regret... but I think it's no contest. You look absolutely amazing in the second dress with the lace.
I tried that exact dress on at David's (also a plus size bride) and it didn't flatter me nearly as well as it does you.

Hi I bought my wedding gown at DB in 2/2018 a ball gown I love it but I feel the same way you do. I am going to wear the gown but going to see if I can get another gown for the reception that I can afford. My fiancee just wants me to be happy so if we can afford something reasonable in the budget then he is alright with it.
