Wedding Dress Regret or Just Bad Pictures?

So I selected my dress one day prior to everything shutting down for Covid-19. The dress in my size has not come in yet so I haven't been able to try it on again since the day I picked it out. The dress is beautiful but it just wasn't what I was imagining for my farm wedding. I'm usually pretty laid-back about these things so I figure I'll stick with the dress regardless.

But all I have to go by when looking back at the dress is a few unflattering pictures of me in the dress. Haha. My mom and sister we're with me and loved the dress. Unfortunately, though, they were not really great photographers! So when I look at the pictures I think "Dear God what have I done?!"
I found a few pictures of women in the dress online and it looks beautiful so I'm probably overreacting. Blah, I'm in a rut!
Any of my fellow brides want to take a look at the images and let me know what you think?! I could use some encouragement!

I love your dress!! It’s beautiful and it’s beautiful on you. I agree with PPs that it is just because you aren’t smiling since you didn’t know a picture was being taken. I have the same problem and have had the same thoughts about my dress. Why couldn’t they have said “hey look at me and smile”?
The flowy ruffles and layers of your dress are so pretty and the contrast of the bling at the top is awesome!

I think you look great! I can totally sympathize - I got my dress a week before things closed down and have had several bouts of panic and questioning! My sister-in-law was with me when we found the dress and took tons of pics but refused to send me any - - she said she will show me anytime I want but didn't want me obsessing about it every day on my own - - I think she made the right call!

This dress is so pretty!! You look great in it!! I think the pictures are just fine but they might not capture the right lighting for it to really sparkle but don't worry you will look beautiful in your dress!!

It’s gorgeous! I highly suggest using photoshop to place a nice photo of you smiling over your face. I did this and it made me feel better. Or you can just print some photos and cut and paste the old fashioned way.
