Hey guys, So, my wedding dress is a million layers, heavily beaded all the way down and after standing in it for about 20 minutes, I'm sweating bullets. Hey guys,

So, my wedding dress is a million layers, heavily beaded all the way down and after standing in it for about 20 minutes, I'm sweating bullets. I mean, dripping down my back, boobs, legs kind of sweat. Sorry to be so gross and graphic, but it's definitely a problem and so uncomfortable.

Anyone have any great fashion tips for this? I feel like I need to roll my body in baby powder, but my mom said then it might get all crumbly. I was considering wearing something like leggings under my dress, just so my thighs don't stick together (I know, so gross lol). My MOH suggested shapewear, but I do not want to add any additional layers under my dress that will make me appear thicker or make me even hotter.

Thoughts? Great suggestions and ideas are welcome!

If your layers are beneath your skirt, you can totally ask a seamstress to remove the extra layers of tulle - it might compromise the look of your dress a little bit, especially if you were wanting a full skirt. But it might be worth it if you're sweating big time.

    Good luck and congratulations!

Depending on the style of your gown/skirt, try a small ice pack at the small of your back. I used an ace bandage wrapped once around my middle and couldn't even see it through the dress! To make a small one, take 2 zip top baggies (best to double bag just in case!) and fill the inner one with a

mix of 1 part rubbing alcohol to 2 parts water. Freeze for at least an hour. It forms a gel instead of hard ice so it flexes with your movements. Even though you can't stick one straight on your forehead (lol) it helps cool your blood as it circulates. I plan to put one on right before the outdoor ceremony, and have 2 more ready to go at the reception. Thank god for a great maid of honor!
