I had just came back from my destination wedding and decided to ship my wedding dress and veil to wedding dress preservation. I was hesitant in doing so but decided to go through with it since I knew my sister had hers done from the same place before. I read some good and bad reviews and before shipping my dress and veil made sure I wrote my name and phone number on the tag of both pieces.... a few days later I get a call from the place saying they never received the veil and the only item in the bag was my dress. I’m not too sure where my veil is now so please keep a look out for my veil for those of you that are getting married and looking to buy a used cathedral veil. I have a feeling it got stolen and not “lost” if they cannot find it.

Update: so it turns out somehow UPS found my lost veil... I’m still unsure how the veil seperated from my dress (that to me will forever be a mystery) anyways, Mary from wedding gown preservation was so understanding of the situation and now it’s cutrently getting shipped from UPS in Missouri to NY. Fingers crossed both times makes it to my doorstep within the next month. Lesson in all this to all you brides... make sure you tag all your items before shipping them out for cleaning (if you choose to take that route). Keith from UPS said that was the only way he was able to trace it back to me otherwise I probably would’ve never seen my veil again.

100% agree with your theory that it was so beautiful they snatched it. My sister’s entire full lace dress and veil is missing and a cheap substitute was in the box instead. She had hers preserved 29 years ago and just opened the box let night to find the incorrect dress.

yes! I did finally receive BOTH my wedding dress and veil back! Thank goodness. I reached out to UPS to see how my veil could’ve gotten separated from my dress and they couldn’t give me a good explanation as to how that could’ve happened. Bottom line, UPS was probably the culprit behind how my dress got separated from my dress. It’ll forever be a mystery to me 🤔.
