Start calling around to the other post offices closest to you. I would say the next 5 closest, within a 5-10 mile radius?

Don't even tell them where your "home" post office is, just tell them you're looking for your package and give them your name.

@Erin - my fingers are crossed that that is the case. Or that it's still in his truck. Hopefully I'll know something in the next 40 minutes or I'll be back down there, less pleasant than my first visit.

Just a bit of information - IF the mailman really tried to deliver it to you yesterday it wont be logged back into the post office until today - fingers crossed if you call again today they will be able to find it for you.

Since you have the tracking number - give that to the person at your post office and have them pull it in their system (sometimes they have more details than we can see) - have them call the postman and see where he put the package.

Is it possible it got dropped off at another house or the little slip blew off the door?

My mailman always sticks them in our front door - so if it's windy it ends up in my neighbors sideyard or bushes

We live in a condo so I understand your frustration. We ordered H ring online and went through a similar occurrence. Tracking said the package was delivered, package never showed up, post office had no idea of the whereabouts and either did the driver. Jewelry store worked with us and shipped out a new ring. A day after my complaint with the post office the old ring showed up on my doorstep. No note or anything, it was just there. I have no idea what happened. Maybe a neighbor got it, maybe the driver found it in his car, maybe the post office found it in their back room. Not sure, but we ended up getting two rings in the end. It’s very likely the post office or driver made a mistake and no one is taking accountability. I am sorry this is happening and hope it shows up. Please keep us posted!
