Wedding Dress in Vegas

My wedding is happening in October in Vegas and our ceremony and reception will last only 4 hours before we move to a country bar to dance and celebrate the rest of the night.

My mother had urged me to think of a cocktail dress to change into after the reception so I don’t get it dirty from the “streets of Las Vegas”. Though I understand where she’s coming from, I want to wear my dress all night. It’s my ONE day to wear it, and I don’t want to take it off after 5 hours.

With that being said...any tips on how to keep the bottom of my dress in good condition throughout the day? Or possibly what can be don’t after the wedding to make it look nice so I can put in on display?

Then wear it! You’ll likely have a bustle for dancing. You can always lift your dress higher for walking around the streets.

Ooh! How about wearing shoes with a shorter heel for the wedding and then changing into boots (perfect for a country bar) with a higher heel! Between the bustle & the boots you should be fine.

I have seen cleaners get lots of stains out that made me nervous. No one could figure out my bustle, so the bottom of my dress got pretty dirty. I haven't gotten around to getting it dry cleaned yet but I'm not worried!
Wear your dress as long as possible!

Dry cleaners can work miracles, so I wouldn't worry too much about the bottom getting dirty. Keep that dress on as long as you'd like, too!

Wear the dress!! I was married before and yes I got married in Vegas (also in October)..anyway I wore it wherever we went that night and you will love it. People will just come up to you and give you best wishes, buy you drinks and so on. Dont worry about that dress having some wear on it, you can have it cleaned. And for your other question, this time
I will likely turn my dress into a Christmas tree skirt.
