November 4th this year, hopefully!

Wear whatever dress you want ! I was in a new years Eve wedding and it was a high of literally 20 degrees that day. We all had strapless dresses and the bride had a strapless ball gown. We had fur shawls for when we had to be outside and she had a really nice cape to keep her warm for outdoor snowy pictures and they came out beautiful

I was freezing but it was worth it. I wore my pashmina for a few pictures. Reception was inside.

November 21st.
We are having an indoor wedding and reception. I’m getting my bridesmaids navy blue pashminas in case they get cold.

I don't necessarily think this has to do with season, either. just find a dress that you like and that's comfortable for you because you can always accessorize it to match a season if you want

November 12, 2021 here!!! I didn’t pick based on season, I picked based on what I wanted most. Below is the dress, I’m probably going to get one of those faux fur shawls to go over it though.

I think which dress you choose will depend a lot on where you are located, whether your venue is indoors or outdoors, and whether you are having a daytime or evening wedding. I don’t feel there is any right or wrong answer in terms of etiquette- I would just wear whatever dress you feel you will be most comfortable in, taking those items into consideration.
