If you know who the designers are of the dresses you like online, you can search to see what stores near you carry that designer. Most stores sell dresses from just a few specific designers. I recommend calling those stores ahead of time to make sure they carry the particular dress you're looking for. If they sell dresses from that designer, but don't have a sample for that specific style, they may either be able to get a sample in for you, or they may be able to tell you what other stores in the area might have that sample.

Have you googled the stores near you to see their line of dresses? I had a very hard time finding the 'pinterest' favorites, but I did find similar dresses in the boutiques I visited.

Also, if you do nt know makers, go to the knoe dresses section. As others have said, you can find this information on the designers websites. Pinterest is a challenge - I had the same problem of seeing a bunch of dresses I loved but having no clue who the designer was. But I found the WeddingWire dress gallery helpful because it will tell you who the designers are, and then you can go from there.
