Wedding Dress Help!

Corri, on August 19, 2019 at 6:45 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 28
So I've finally started looking at dresses, but I have a very limited budget, and I haven't found anything that I like! I'm going for more of a boho theme, and I'm really looking for long sleeves, with lace, possible separates! I feel like nowhere has anything that's cute like that. is there anywhere else I should be looking? I'm from MA is there any smaller local places?

If you’re not opposed to shopping online checkout Azazie. They have all kinds of styles and you can order samples to try on at home (or wherever you’d like). Good luck on your hunt.

I bought my dress from etsy! Long sleeve with the softest of lace, my photo won't load but if you go to my profile you'll be able to see it. She has tons of other styles/designs on her website or etsy page, BlushFashion and she's fairly reasonably priced. She also has many on sale right now and offers custom made or tweaking.

What is your budget? Have you tried BHLDN? Their dresses are more affordable and tend to run along the boho-style spectrum.

My budget is honestly as inexpensive as possible. we both work in the service industry, and my parents can't afford to help us, so I'm trying to keep everything as low priced as possible, especially knowing how expensive alterations can be!

Not sure if you’re budget, but the “Summer” gown by Wtoo by Waters is gorgeous.

Agreed! BHLDN is amazing-you should check out their sales online too. I’ve gotten my dress already and I still look at their website.

I recommend stillwhite.com! I got my designer wedding dress there for 1/4 the price and it’s brand new still with tags on! They have so many different styles and designers to choose from and accommodate a range of budgets!

Another vote for BHLDN! Visit their store or order online. In bridal shops, ask if local shops carry Waters or Theia. Both boho and under $1500-$2K.

Unfortunately, that's out of my budget. I'm honestly looking at a max of like $400.

I was looking on Shein.com the other day and came across some really nice dresses. Their dresses are mostly under $25 bucks and I just ordered a dress for a wedding I’m attending in a few weeks and the quality is good. Seriously considering buying the dress attached.

Try resale sites. You can get designer dresses on the cheap. I'm going to sell one that I have never worn or altered but I dont have any good pictures in it yet. It doesnt fit your style be sure it's a full tulle ball gown with a tight lace bodice (off shoulder) with shear lacy sleeves. There are sites that specialize in wedding dresses but you can also find them on sites like poshmark.

BHLDN has sale sections, definitely seen dresses $400 and under. Are you opposed to sample or used dresses? You could get a great dress with your budget.

What about Alexandra’s Too. It’s next to Alexandra’s In Fall River and has all
occasion dresses. You may be able to find a dress that’s not necessarily a wedding dress but works for the occasion.
