Wedding Dress didn't come in yet!!!!!!!

I have never dealt with such incompetent people in my life. I ordered my dress back in December 2009 and it still has not come in. I was told it should be in at the end of May 2010, it keeps being delayed. Not only is it not in yet, but no one called to let me know it is delayed still. I keep calling, going in and get only rudeness from all associates who work at the bridal boutique. Last week, the store manager assured me that it was shipped and would arrive this week. That was last Monday. Help! What should I do now?

I have to say though, I have heard a lot of people having issues with their Maggie gowns. Brooklynne didn't get her dress until the Friday before her wedding week from Maggie Sottero and they ended up sending her the complete wrong size. She ended up buying the sample at the store.

Food for thought: A couple of days ago, I overheard a sales lady in a bridal store telling a bride about how the store owes some money to the designer, and her dress actually is sitting there but designers arent releasing it till the shop settles the $8000 balance they owe...Call the designer! have them direct you to a more reliable store and I am sure they will waive the rush fee, if ever, considering situation....

Good news ladies. Apparently my dress came in yesterday by FedEx. I have yet to see it, but I am hoping it is exactly what I ordered. I will let you know. (Tip I think everyone should give the store an earlier wedding date by 2 months and you will be ok)

GREAT IDEA MELISSA.. shoot i orderedmy dress the end of may.. they said it takes 6 months to get in. Thankfully its not a Maggie.. phew!!!

I'm right there with you! My dress was supposed to be in the first week of July! Well here we are about to finish up July and it isn't here yet! I called the boutique as I was reading this and she claims it will be here the 26th, so we shall see what happens! Hopefully both our dresses get here soon!
