Wedding dress cleavage- help!

Brooklyn, on August 29, 2019 at 11:51 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 16
Hey ladies! I got my dress and I love it- it fits perfect! But I have so much cleavage and I don’t know how to fix it without just losing some weight and hoping it helps? My wedding is in 3 weeks, and I don’t want a corset back to losen it. My bra size is a 36 KK so I knew this would be an issue but I don’t know if there’s any way to fix it. Any suggestions?

You look beautiful! I wouldn’t have even noticed the cleavage. I say roll with it. Don’t feel like you have to cover up your body unless you truly want to. There’s nothing about your look that seems provocative so I wouldn’t worry!

You could possibly out a panel in, but with the shape of your dress, I don't it would help much or look that great. If you aren't too uncomfortable, I would just leave it alone.

That was supposed to say put a panel in.

I wouldn't have noticed. I say embrace your curves and leave it alone. But if it makes you feel like you're going to be uncomfortable and worrying the whole time at your wedding, maybe see about a lace piece to add in of sheer fabric to be more comfortable.

You look absolutely gorgeous in your dress!!! I wouldn’t change anything with it, but if your uncomfortable in it. I would take it to a seamstress and see if they could place a sheer panel in it or use a shawl.

I agree with everyone else, just rock it!! The dress looks so good on you and coming from a lady with zero chest, I dont think your groom will mind seeing a little extra on your wedding day 😅 I actually picked a dress that enhanced what little I do have. I'm sure you wont even notice it in your big day, you'll be to busy loving every moment of it!! ❤

Your bra size is what it is at this point and won’t change much in 3 weeks (unless you do some super hardcore diet changes and exercise). As you mentioned in your post, you knew it would be an issue (especially with a sweetheart neckline). But it actually looks fine.

Girl I feel you, but let me say your cleavage and that dress look absolutely GORGEOUS and if you're comfortable with it I think it looks great. However I'm super uncomfortable with the cleavage I have in my dress (my large bust has always been something I've been self conscious about) so when I do my alterations they're going to do a "modesty panel" with a somewhat sheer piece of fabric to close the gap in the neckline. Kinda like the picture below, but straight across rather than following the neckline.

I agree with most of the PPs. I don't think you have too much cleavage going on. It looks great on you!

Brooklyn, you look absolutely stunning in your dress! I wouldn't have noticed your cleavage if you hadn't mentioned it and to be honest, I don't think it's too much. Do you feel like it is more revealing than you are comfortable with?

I think you look incredible! If you really feel uncomfortable, you could try a modesty panel but I really think it's fine as is.
