Wedding dress budget

What's everyone's budget for your wedding dress? Or, if you've already found the one... How much was it? Torn between "it's only one day, why spend so much" and "it's only one day, might as well." LOL Trying to decide if I want to spend the money on my dream dress, Martina Liana 1059.

I have been so addicted to watching "Yes to the Dress" these last couple of weeks... Smiley xd

I originally went in with a budget of 3k (thank you tax return!), however; I ended up purchasing the dress of my dreams for $1,999. I plan on keeping my dress to show my children ( I am a real sucker of memorabiliaSmiley cry ) so, spending that much money was worth it to me. Allure BridalsWedding dress budget 1

I wasn't sure what to make my dress budget. I'm having my mom's dress re-purposed into mine and just heard back from my seamstress. She high-balled me at $300 and I was willing to pay $750 for essentially a custom dress!

Knowing how expensive the dress is, I set it at $1200. However, it was somewhat difficult to find the dress. I am so lucky and got my dress a little over $1200 (grand total: after tax, insurance, and shipping). My is Mori Lee Rosa.

I set my dress budget at $1500. There is a bridal store locally that prides itself on having beautiful designer dresses for any type of budget. The dress I ended up falling in love with was a Morilee dress! Including the veil the cost was about $1300. The dress needs very little alterations, so I am hoping the grand total-with alterations— will stay very close to my intended $1500 budget.

I was torn between wanting to get a beautiful dress I would love & not wanting to spend too much. I was getting discouraged trying to find a place & really didn’t want to shop at David’s bridal, but it was looking to be the only affordable place for me here in Southern California. My budget was $500, my fiancé said $1k, I thought he was nuts! 1 day I came across a page on Instagram, sample dresses are donated from companies like David’s bridal. These are sample dresses, never been preciously owned, only tried on. This little company is amazing! I read about this place & I knew this was the place where I was going to find my dress. The best part about this place is, it’s a non-profit organization, for cancer patients & their families. The money goes to helping these patients & families! Not only am I getting a beautiful dress at a great cost, but the money I spent was a contribution towards something meaningful. These designer gowns are marked down 40-50% & they have events where you can score an additional 40% off. My dress cost me $450. Wedding dress budget 2

My budget was $1200. After some sort of holiday discount, dress insurance and shipping, it came out to be almost $1200. So happy. Smiley winking

We didn’t really make a budget, but I was hoping for $1,500. I found my dream dress for $2,000 and alterations are $500. The dress was off rack only one size so I need quite a bit of work done

My grandparents purchased my dress and gave me an unlimited budget. I had found my dress on a dress shop’s Facebook where they were advertising it months before my fiancé even proposed and I saved it. I knew as soon as he asked what I wanted to wear! The dress ended up being only $1,800! I LOVE IT!

I hope you find your dream dress! ❤️ Here is the one I got. https://www.justinalexander.com/lillian-west/collection/wedding-dresses/66012/
