Hi Brides, Can anyone tell me what the cost of alterations were/are for your dress? I know it varies depending on the particular alterations and add-ons. But I am just wondering what the average cost is. The boutique I got my ball gown at has a seamstress on site and said their average is from $350...

Can anyone tell me what the cost of alterations were/are for your dress? I know it varies depending on the particular alterations and add-ons. But I am just wondering what the average cost is. The boutique I got my ball gown at has a seamstress on site and said their average is from $350 to $650. TIA!

I'm in KC area. Just taking it in and adding a bustle cost $165. Thank goodness I found shoes that allowed me to not be a hem because I had at least 10 layers of tulle.
