Thanks! I've already picked my venue out as well as my photographers. Now I'm looking thru wedding cakes and my dress shopping date is coming up fast. I really don't want to go dress shopping as I'm anxious about my weight (trying to loose weight before the wedding like most brides I've talked to). But this last past year has gone really quickly so I need to get on it.
And I'm concerned about the weather in October. Last year was so rainy but this year was extremely dry! Agh how am I suppose to guess what the weather will be for next year? (I'm trying to decide based on the weather if I should get a heavier dress on not).
We have selected 10-4-20. It does happen to be a Sunday, but I love the radio signal 10-4 meaning "ok". Secondly your "20" is your location. So to me it is actually stating my heart is "ok in this location" 💜
Debating between Sept 27 (the 7 year anniversary of when we first met) and Oct 7 (the 7 year anniversary ofour first date). In my mind, we'd somehow do both. Maybe an intimate ceremony on one of the dates and a larger reception on the other?
10/11/2020 in Boynton Beach, FL! We’ve got the venue/catering, florist, photographer, DJ, and dress! Next up is baker (we have three choices of bakery and the cakes comes in our venue package 🙌🏻) and sending save-the-dates which I’m doing next week!
10.10.2020 - it's got a nice ring to it when you tell people the date out loud!
We are going super DIY because pricing of everything is ridiculous. Got our venue, my dress, shoes and photographer selected. We're going to be making our own food the week leading up to the wedding and having a friend bring his DJ equipment for us to use.
Have so much to do still, but I've been working hard on getting everything picked out for decorations and such.

These are cute save the dates! How do you have everything booked already?! We are in Jupiter. I booked the venue but affording all of the other deposits are so tricky! Who'd you choose for DJ? I'm having trouble finding the right one.

Hey Brittany! I found an amazing DJ. He goes by DJ El Cumacho and his company’s name is Moor Productions. His packages and prices are super reasonable and I just love his vibe. Check him out on Instagram @djelcumacho. He would definitely go to Jupiter. In terms of getting stuff done, I just insisted we start early. We booked venue first, then florist and photographer. The photographer was a given for us (Munoz Photography) because my FH’s family has been using them for years. Save the dates just went out because most of our guests are out of town!
