Wedding Day Lipstick Poll and Pictures

My FH hates lipstick coming off on him, so my cheap go to is Revlon color stay in non stop cherry. It comes with a gloss side, but I never put the gloss on. I wear it everyday and it stays on nicely. I switch it up sometimes with all night fuchsia for a brighter pink summer shade.

@natalie - I actually have Lancome Rouge in Love in 300M and like it a lot but it doesn't have the staying power on me that I'm looking for. It lasts really well until I eat or drink. The Kat Von D didn't budge till I wiped my mouth 10 times while eating a chili dog. hahaha

I would love to say I'm going bold but I'm a chicken. I really like the color of Wet n Wild MegaLast Matte Lip Color called "Bare it All" - its been on my pinterest page forever, I've never tried it on but its the neutral I'm going for

I jus went to sephora and tore up my lips to lol. I didn't find a kat von d that I like. The one that I think I'm going to go with is Anastasia Beverly Hills. I believe it was the Katherine shade. Excuse the awful pic I had jus gotten off work.

That's so pretty @Angel! Yeah the trying out lip stains things is brutal. I went home after and smothered my lips in Aquaphor.

JennyV I have one if the mega last from wet and wild. They make good products but that one isn't it. I have one of those and it sucks.

NYX liquid suede/lingere ones are nice. I have exotic I think and it's a lovely 'nude' punch but not scraggly nude.

My lippie in using ruby woo with chicory for one. And then probably a combo of the two above colors.

PTY is a great color also by DNA Cosmetics.

I went for something in the middle. I wanted a lip stain that was make-out proof. here is what I went with.

This is what I'm using for my wedding. It's a stain from Mac.

My usual lip stain I use at home is Revlon and it lasts all day. Have to use makeup remover after a full day to get it off.

I usually only wear clear lip balm, so I want a somewhat natural colored lipstick so that I'll still feel like myself. I got 4 colors from MAC that I'm experimenting with this week and next so I can figure out which one I want to wear. I got Velvet Teddy, Shy Girl, Patisserie and Faux. I also am using a MAC lip liner, Dervish, and a touch of gloss.

NYX suede matte's feel so nice on, they're just a little drying, but nothing unbearable. I just find that they transfer SO easily! I have to reapply constantly which sucks because I really love the shades. KVD liquid lippies are usually pretty good, you just have to shop around for liners since for whatever reason she doesn't make them. ugh. I'd also recommend shopping around on Colorpop!

I love bold and have been having the same problem!!! I don't know whether to go bold or nude.

I need to follow this. Lip stick has been my ultimate challenge!

@jess it it just their regular lipstick or something else? I follow them on IG and have been curious about their stuff.

MacToBe - I don't think it's too much at all! It looks gorgeous with your skin tone. I'm going darker than usual too. I tried the Sephora lip stain, the Revlon Balm Stain, but they both still transfered some. So, since I still hadn't found the color I wanted I went on the hunt for a stain that stayed in place.

I found an article that tested a bunch of stains, and she recommended Make Up For Ever Aqua Rouge lip stain. I am completely obsessed. The color doesn't move at all, and the gloss it comes with lasts pretty well too. I only reapplied the gloss once after all day wear. Here is a pic. It's way darker than my normal.

Colourpop is my favorite brand. All lippies are $5-$6. Their new matteX formula lippies are incredible. I literally have about 25 lippies from them.
