Wedding day bibs

Are bibs tacky? I never wear white because I drop food on myself at least once a day. My Maids were joking that we should wear matching bibs for when we are eating so I don't ruin my dress and pictures. What are you planning on doing to keep food off your dress when you eat or what did you do?

I'm all for throwing on an apron when eating. I would be so mad at myself if I stained my dress

I am eating white foods only while in my wedding dress. Actually, it just worked out that way. Plain spaghetti with cheese , bread, champagne, white wine, vanilla cake with white frosting. If i get something on me oh well. I am changing into a party dress anyways.

We are eating before our guests arrive at the reception. I plan on eating the Alfredo and chicken only for this exact reason. I'm right there with you, I always get food on myself lol

Hmm, I swore I would only drink clear things while in my dress, but forgot about eating. Maybe I'll put my button down getting ready shirt on over my dress while eating, then take it off.

My MIL joked she was going to make me a "bridal bib." I was just very careful. We had chicken parm, stuffed shells, and shrimp scampi. Lol not the neatest foods. Like I said though, I was very careful

Definitely doing something like this because we are having BBQ and pulled pork can be messy.

I just did a search on Etsy and found these:

For $11, I'm tempted to get them.

If the whole bridal party does it then yes. people will just think its something funny and cute, instead of thinking 'why can't they eat without spilling food"

My sons came over and draped napkins in front of J and I just like their Nonna did to them when they were slurping her yummy pastas. Wish we had a pic of it but we asked our photographers to have dinner Smiley smile

As JoRocka said, we had bibs! Not only did it fit our dinner theme, they were practical. We put them at the table settings for all of our guests.

I love the bib idea...I can't be trusted to get food into my mouth all of the time.
