Wedding Colors

null, on August 15, 2019 at 10:12 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 19

Okay so I'm starting to realize that I definitely did this really backwards, but I bought my bouquets almost first thing in wedding planning. I knew I didn't want to pay for real flowers so I just went on Amazon and found a reasonably priced matching bunch. The first pictures are of my bouquet, and the bridesmaid bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres all match it. Anyways, I was originally thinking of doing peach and sage green as my wedding colors but I'm being indecisive. At this point I kinda need to stick with peach because of my flowers, but I'm considering a different combo. The second color will probably be the color I have my bridesmaids wear instead of peach. The other pictures are the color combinations I'm considering, we're having a May wedding at a really open and green farm with a big red barn (rustic theme lol). Which color combination do you guys like the best with my bouquet? My BouquetWedding Colors 1

Please let me know what you guys think! Also if you have any other color combo that you think would work, I'd love more ideas to work with Smiley smile Thanks!

The peach and sage combo is beautiful. However thinking about the other info you gave about your venue, the other greenery might over power the sage in your combo. The dusty blue would be very pretty against the green of your venue for more of a soft tone. Also the navy would look good to, as more of a bold contrast. You said that your venue has a red barn. Is it a bright red or a darker red? That's somthing to consider too. Which color combo would work with color of the barn.

I probably should've posted a photo of the barn lol, I would say it's closer to a bright red than dark red, but not super bright. These are just a couple pictures from their website.

The peach and sage is probably my favorite too, but with all the greenery at my venue, I'm worried the sage would just look sort of washed out or faded almost, or blend in completely.

Peach and Sage or Peach and Dusty blue the most imo. The navy seems a little too nautical for a rustic wedding

I think the peach and sage you chose to begin with is best especially with the flowers you bought.

I like the peach and sage. If you want to bring another color in, I would go with a burgundy or wine color. But definitely your initial idea is my favorite.

I would go with your gut. Your first idea was sage and peach, so I would do that.

Sage, dusty blue, and navy can all go together, so why don’t you do peach with accents of all three? You don’t have to just have two colors, multiple accent colors can give you more flexibility and depth to your palette.

I think navy would be the best color on them, I definitely don’t want them in peach because I don’t think it would compliment their complexions. I think sage would be nice too I’m just worried about it blending in with all the greenery of our venue.
