Wedding Colors?

Imani, on March 28, 2022 at 11:50 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 4 14
So we are struggling. At first we thought champagne and burnt orange would be our wedding colors. My dress is champagne and we can’t decide on a color scheme 😩😩

This has been so hard because every color I choose she has an excuse not to choose it. For example, light blue/ sky blue gives off ‘baby shower vibes’ , 🙄 Or bronze is ‘too dark’, yellow is ‘too bright’.. Please help me.

What does the venue look like? My SIL is an event planner, and when I started planning my wedding, the 1st thing she said to me was always make sure the decor works with the venue space and doesn't fight with it. We ended up changing our initial color scheme because it wouldn't have looked good with the reception ballroom.

Here is a picture of the venue. They have a variety of different linen. Idk if that helps. Wedding Colors? 1

Pick your fave colors/favorite colors to wear and work with those! Maybe try pastel versions of them (not too brigh & not to dark!)? I hope this helps!

Hers is orange - she didn’t want to use that one bc she didn’t want to ‘look like halloween’. My favorite color is green and I was thinking emerald or jade even but I couldn’t think of an additional color. I was also considering peach maybe but couldn’t think of an additional color.

You could always do different shades of green

Should we add in an additional color? Or champagne and different shades of green should work? I’m also thinking about decorations and flower center pieces.

THANK YOU!!! Another question. Sorry, if the MOH & one ‘bridesmaid’ wore verde. What could the groomsmen wear? What color tux? I would want them to wear the vest of the what the women wear and maybe the bow tie as well. Or just have the bow tie the color of their dress and not the best? This was more like two more questions

Probably black tuxedos! And on shoprevelry you can buy pockets squares and bow ties that match your bridesmaids dresses exactly (if you shop there of course). I'm not keen on vest matching just because it may be hard to find an exact color match!

That makes a lot of sense. I’ve never heard of shopeverly but I will definitely look into it! Thanks so much.

I’ve seen people do their wedding colors as the same color just in different shades if you can’t agree on two colors. I think the champagne and green would be really pretty but if your partner is really against it you could always pick green or another color you both like and do it in different shades. As far as centerpieces you could always do White or find a color you both like and you only use it for centerpieces so that it’s not too in your face if they’re not really for the color

Thanks Taylor! This has been helpful. I think the different shades will actually work and maybe we can throw the peach as a ‘semi pop’ color with the flowers.
