Hello Brides! We are 9 days from our wedding day. Yay! Our officiant just emailed us asking if we wanted to change our start time to 5:30 instead of 5:00 so that the clock is moving upward during the ceremony. My fiancé and I and our parents have never heard of this. I’m wondering if other brides...
Hello Brides! We are 9 days from our wedding day. Yay! Our officiant just emailed us asking if we wanted to change our start time to 5:30 instead of 5:00 so that the clock is moving upward during the ceremony. My fiancé and I and our parents have never heard of this. I’m wondering if other brides heard of this or considered this when finalizing your wedding ceremony timeline.

    I put this right with all marriages being scheduled noon to one because any other time the sundial casts a shadow. Seriously?

    NEVER heard of it and would base the start time on what logistically makes sense vs superstition.
