My fiancé and I are planning to get married this summer anywhere from June to August, no set date but we have already priced everything vendors etc. and it is going to be about $4,000. It is about 80 people of just close family and friends. However, we both feel like $4,000 is a lot when we are saving for a home to buy and other things. I want to have a wedding for the memories and the photos and simple feel like I got married to my forever and had a wedding! However, I am having cold feet- we also wouldn’t be opposed to getting married somewhere like Lake Tahoe, maybe renting a home on the water with immediate family and a nice dinner- does anyone have any other ideas on how to do this? My uncle is marrying us and we want a private wedding/reception type. Hope this makes sense, def. looking for ideas
