Ours is $825 including delivery. We're getting a large wedding cake to feed around 160 and a sheet cake for 100 people. So...it comes out to be around $3.15/serving.

The CAKE is $90 - it's a small two tiered cake just for me and FH. We are offering cupcakes to our guests (4 delicious flavors). Grand total is $550.

There are cakes and there are CAKES!!!! Just like there are shoes and there are Laboutins.

In my area, 5-12.00 per slice is normal unless it's grocery store cake.

$2.50 - $2.90/serving from an awesome lady! She has won TLCs Ultimate Cake Off twice and her rates are still about the norm around here.

$3/serving. So, with the estimated number of guests we have now, it'll be about $500 for our 5 tier wedding cake with buttercream. We were going to do cupcakes but they would have cost about the same as the cake.

I'm going for Sams Club sheet cakes and a $35 small 8-inch cake for the two of us. Venue is cutting the large cakes in the kitchen and serving them plated. Will end up being less than $200 total.

I'm getting mine from Hyvee for $230. We're doing a 10 inch with champagne filling, a 6 inch with raspberry filling, and then 6 dozen cupcakes equally chocolate/vanilla. But we're also having an assortment of dessert shooters (salted caramel, strawberry cheesecake, chocolate mousse) in shot glasses served on the cake/dessert table, so I'm not really too concerned if not every guest gets a piece of cake as there will be other options available.

Mine was originally $268 for 65 people. Last week, I changed it to a more a intricate design so, now I'm paying $418 now. The cake is very important to me so, it's worth the extra money. I can't wait to see it!

We lucked out and have a friend that used to work for a bakery. She offered to make our cake for free; all we have to do is pay for materials. However, we are totally going to pay her something because neither of us would feel okay not paying her for her time. (Her husband (and GM) is also going to DJ for us!)

I don't know how much supplies will be, but I'm guessing around $75...for my FSIL to make a small cake, and a bunch of cupcakes.

Ours is 250 (incl tax + delivery) for about 85 people. Shop around. We got quotes from $3 a serving to $8 a serving.

Plus, our baker is going to make us a new mini cake for our 1st anniversary so we dont have to freeze ours (included in the price).
