Wedding cake

I got really lucky because my son's Godmother is a baker so we're getting it very cheap (Like cost of ingredients only). I'm having a dummy cake (Rounds up to 14" at LACrafts.com(Amazing)) that'll look like a mix of the following cakes and then 5 sheet cakes all different flavors.

1. Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Filling & Frosting

2. Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Filling & Frosting

3. Chocolate Cake with Cookies N' Cream Filling & Buttercream Frosting

4. White Chocolate Cake with Raspberry Filling & Buttercream Frosting

5. White Cake with Bettercream (frosting they use at like the grocery store) Filling & Frosting

Our cake is 3 tier 10-8-6 inch, feeds 75 but we r keeping the top to eat when we return from our honeymoon, 3 different flavors, purple pipping and monogram design with rhinestone trim on all 3 layers. Cake stand rental and delivery for $250.

My cake is included in the venue-just found out last week despite my asking 8months ago because that's what's listed on the website and the coordinator told me no but thats another story. I got a last minute appointment and I will now have a 4 tier cake that will have 3 tiers of chocolate with oreo cookies n creme mousse and 1 tier of vanilla with dulce de leche mousse. I cannot wait...I would imagine this is about a $2-3K cake if it werent included in the venue pricing

We're doing a small (6") three-layered cake for us to cut/eat and cupcakes/brownies for the guests. I'll be making our cake and the brownies!

We haven't fully decided yet but wedding cakes in my area can easily go for $500 or more for a 3 tier. We are considering cheesecake because it's not as expensive and all of our guests like cheesecake. If we go with the cheesecake, we're going to have a topping station with hot fudge, caramel, strawberry sauce, etc.

This is what our cake is going to look like
its going to be a 4 tier and serves 150 people.
We are paying $400 plus $20 for delivery.
Keep in mind we did NOT go with a traditional bakery or anything if not a lady we know by ‘friends’ if you will. She is amazing and has done so many wedding, party, baby shower etc cakes.

I'm getting a simple, two tier cake- almond with raspberry filling and vanilla whipped icing. Thankfully, my cake is free. My sister is having her very talented friend make the cake (at her friend and family rate lol) as her present to us.

This is our cake but instead of 3 tiers it’s going to be 4 tiers (14”, 12”, 10”, and 8”). We’ll have an additional 10” cake. We have 3 different flavors (filling and cake flavors) and the cake has double design, the Star Wars design will be the back of the cake and the front will have a more traditional wedding cake design. It all came up just under $1,000

We are doing bundt cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes. 2 tier for $65. Then we are going to have some extra desserts Total we are planning on spending around $120.

We were originally going to do a traditional wedding cake but we didn't want to spend $300+ on a cake. We got the idea for bundt cakes off of Pinterest.

I am having a small affair for 35 people so I don't need a big cake but I love the aesthetics of a big cake. I have yet to meet with any bakers for pricing but I am thinking of 3 options.

1. 3 tier cake with the bottom being a staged cake and the top two layers eatable. This way I get the look of a big cake. The top layer would be for me and my FH. I'd have a sheet cake in the back to cut up to supplement the second layer.

2. 2 tier cake and various desserts.

3. An assortment of cupcakes on a three tier platform.

Am I the only one getting a 3 tier cake from Sam's club for $80? Their cakes taste amazing and are very pretty =o)

I got a 3-tier cake for 90 guests and chocolate covered strawberries and rice krispy treats for $690 total. I think the cake alone was around $500

Mine will be 3 layers and it's costing $250

4 tiers high and 4 smaller cakes surrounding the main cake. Added some flowers $1000

We opted out of a traditional cake. One of our guest is going to make cheesecake pops, cake pops, brownies, cupcakes ect for dessert & free to us being as it will be her gift to us. I just have to help make them all. It will be fun as she is crafty & I'm sure it will be decorated like the groom,bride, ect. Also the FH is making chocolate covered strawberries in the wedding colors for dessert. I can't wait.

I got a 3 tier and a half a sheet on the side. 2 flavors 1 is strawberry shortcake other is custard. We have Butter cream because we dislike fondant. Cake feeds for 110 guest 1800. Being made by Carlos bakery “ cake boss”
